BCCI appointed Rahul Dravid as head coach of Indian Men’s cricket team

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed Rahul Dravid as the new head coach of the international cricket team.

In this regard, a statement has been issued by the BCCI confirming the appointment.

It has been reported that the BCCI’s Cricket Advisory Committee has unanimously appointed Rahul Dravid as the head coach of the Indian team (senior men’s team).

Rahul Dravid will take charge in the home series against New Zealand after the T20 World Cup.

It should be noted that Dravid will replace the current coach of the Indian team Ravi Shastri who is currently with the team in the T20 World Cup.

It is to be noted that the performance of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup so far has been zero, where first it suffered a humiliating defeat by Pakistan and then it was defeated by New Zealand.

According to the BCCI, Rahul Dravid has also coached India’s Under-19 cricket team and India A.
