West Indies won the toss and elected to field first against Sri Lanka in Group 1 of the Super 12 Stage at the Men’s T20 World Cup.
It should be noted that the Sri Lankan team has already been eliminated from the event, while the West Indies need this win with a good run rate to enter the semi-finals.
The Sri Lankan team includes captain Dasan Shinaka, Patham Nasanka, Koshal Perera, Chertha Asalanka, Oshka Fernando, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Chamika Krunartne, Vinandu Hasaranga de Silva, Dashmantha Chamira, Mahesh Thekshana and Banura Fernando.
The West Indies team consists of captains Caron Pollard, Chris Gayle, Avon Lewis, Ruston Chase, Nicholas Puran, Shimron Hitmeyer, Andre Russell, Jason Holder, Devin Bravo, Aqeel Hussain and Ravi Rampal.
