Fawad Chaudhry said Pakistan is running out of gas reserves rapidly

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has revealed that gas reserves are depleting by 9% annually.

Talking to media in Islamabad, Fawad Chaudhry said that the Ministry of Energy is already in trouble as gas reserves are depleting at the rate of 9% per annum.

He said that there is a gas crisis in the world, gas price has increased by 500% in a country like UK, our gas reserves are also decreasing.

Fawad Chaudhry said that the gas crisis will end after March, the concession for gas from Captive Power has been withdrawn till March 31, 2022.

The Federal Minister said that whether Nawaz Sharif returns in the same month of December, the PDM group comes every year, it has winter activities.

Talking to media, Fawad Chaudhry said that the talks with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were being held in accordance with the constitution and after its acceptance.

He further added that war and fighting were fought for the attainment and restoration of peace and now the issues would have to be settled permanently through dialogue.

Fawad Chaudhry said that the new setup of Afghanistan also wants peace in Pakistan, the aspirations of the Afghan government and local citizens are being discussed to restore peace.

The Federal Minister said that after the war of father, grandfather or elder brothers, the whole generation has changed and the citizens of the tribal areas also want peace to be brought. Locals affected by the war will also be included.
