The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 players draft, held in Lahore, saw several high-profile cricketers miss out on being picked by any franchise. A large number of foreign players, eager to make their PSL debut, had registered for the draft, but some notable names were overlooked.
The list of snubbed players includes Cooper Connolly, Daniel Simms, Jason Behrendroff, Mark Steckete, Moises Henriques, and William Sutherland, among others. Pakistani cricketer Sarfraz Ahmed, who parted ways with Quetta Gladiators, was also surprisingly left out of the draft. However, he was later appointed as the coach of Quetta Gladiators by team owner Nadeem Umar.
Other big names who failed to secure a spot in any team include Tim Southee, Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Usman Khawaja, Shakib Al Hasan, and Chris Lynn. Despite being part of the PSL 10 draft, these players will not be participating in the tournament this year.
